Itinerary for Customers

Day 1 : Mandalay – Pyin Oo Lwin (-/-/-)
After breakfast, drive to Pyin Oo Lwin known as Maymyo, the former British hill station. Pyin Oo Lwin is home to many ethnic tribes as well as a considerate numbers of ethnic Nepalese and Indians who migrated here during the British occupation.

Upon arrival, visit National Kandawgyi Garden and Nan Myint Tower (entrance fee by own account) to enjoy the panoramic view of the beautiful flower town. After lunch, visit Chinese Temple and Pwekauk Waterfall. In the evening, enjoy the sunset at Kyauk Taw Gyi Pagoda.

Both lunch and dinner are your own account.

Overnight in Pyin Oo Lwin

Day 2: Pyin Oo Lwin – Hsipaw (B/-/-)
After breakfast at hotel, drive to Pyin Oo Lwin railway station and proceed to Hsipaw by train. En route you will pass the famous Gokteik Viaduct built in before world war which spans a 300-meter deep gorge high in the Shan Mountains.

Leave your train at Naung Pein in the afternoon and proceed by car to Hsipaw.

Both lunch and dinner are your own account.

Overnight in Hsipaw

Day 3: Hsipaw (Trekking) (B/-/-)
After breakfast in the morning, then go to the Jetty of the Dokhtawaddy River to take a boat trip upstream. This area is not only a fantastic place to snap a few photos, but the water of the tributary is clean enough to take a quick dip. Do a small trekking to the Shan villages for a chance to talk to local Shan people about the daily life.

Afterwards visit the former residence of Shan Saw Bwar built in Colonial Era. The property is managed by his niece and nephew who will give you a guided tour.

Late in the afternoon, head outside of town to Nine Buddha Hill and watch the sunset over Hsipaw and the Dokhtawaddy River.

Overnight in Hsipaw

Day 4: Hsipaw – Mandalay (B/-/-)
In the morning, check out from the hotel after breakfast, depart for Mandalay. On the way, visit Bawgyo Pagoda, one of the most famous pagodas in northern Shan State and reach Pyin Oo Lwin around midday and have lunch (by own account) at December Farm, famous for its strawberry farm, dairy and local food. Then continue the drive to Mandalay and transfer to your hotel or the airport.

Cancellation and Refund Policy
All cancellations must be made in writing and acknowledged by Wings & Wheels Travels and Tours. A 10% handling fee will be charged made 30 days or more prior to your arrival unless there are any charges or prepayments. Guide, car and entrance fees are fully refundable at any time before travel.
More than 30 days before departure: 10% of total tour price

Between 30 and 21 days before departure: 25% of total tour price
Between 20 and 8 days before departure: 50% of total tour price
Between 7 days and 48 hours before departure: 75% of total tour price
Less than 48 hours before departure: 100% of total tour price

• Drinks and personal expenses (such as drinks, souvenirs, laundry etc.)
• Tips and porters at the hotels
• Credit card fees (4.5%) or bank transfer fees for non-cash payments

• Camera fees in visited area
• Travel insurance (cover against all cancellation costs, medical expenses incl. repatriation in the event of accident or illness)
